8 Potential Loans For Forest to Consider

With the news Reid is out for a while. I had a brief look into potential players available at clubs in the Premier League. Primarily those not in the squads of 25, but generally those who are youngish (20-22) and will want to prove something.

Jesse Lindgard
Has had loan time in this division before with Birmingham, Leicester and Brighton. That said The Manchester United youngster  is only now retraining after a bad leg injury early in the season. The reason I mention him is because I saw many others doing so. He may not be fully fit till late October, and we ideally need bodies now.

Jazz Richards
Jazz Richards
Primarily a full back, but also a utility man (and we’ve had a few of those) he can play defensive midfield role. Richards even has international caps for Wales and finds himself on the fringes of the Swansea squad. Richards has not played since Brendan Rodgers was in charge, so would probably jump at the chance of a spot of first team football, after loans last season with Huddersfield and two seasons ago with Palace

Suso
Ok, the Liverpool youngster is primarily a winger, but it’s very in at the moment to move winger’s infield, and the tricky Spaniard could surely set this division alight on the inside behind a striker. After a season with Almeria in La Liga last season, he is continually being rumoured with a move from Anfield with an apparent pre contract signed with AC Milan, so for that reason it’d be highly doubtful he’d come here

Diego Poyet
Diego Poyet
Gus Poyet son was formerly a Charlton player till West Ham snapped him up. A creative midfielder, West Ham have said they will look to give the likes of Poyet game time by loaning them out to Championship clubs, so the possibility is strong. However Charlton being his former club would surely step in and look to take him first so any deal would need to be pushed through. Poyet is eligible for England and has played at junior levels, but still is unsure long term whether to choose England or Uruguay.

Cristian Ceballos
21 year old Spanish midfielder for Spurs, he came through the ranks at Barcelona before moving to White Hart lane. He had a spell last season on loan in Portugal. The youngster has found chances hard to come by at Spurs and would look for first team action elsewhere, however he is slight of frame, and would potentially get a very rough treatment in the hurly burly of the Championship.

Harry Winks

Harry Winks
Another Spurs midfielder, Winks is only 18 and extremely highly thought of at Spurs. He made the bench for the first team against Liverpool late last season. Winks just played for the England U-19 squad that trounced Luxembourg this week.  Spurs would hopefully see a good opportunity for the young lad’s development coming here.

Stuart O’Keefe
recently back from injury with Crystal palace, the 23 year old needs to prove his fitness. O’Keefe find himself down the pecking order, and from Wikipedia it was suggested he wasn’t even named in the 25 for Palace (which is not fully certain, Wikipedia being as it is.) O’Keefe would be an ideal short term loan for a month or two to fill in some gaps.

Michael Doughty

Michael Doughty
I couldn’t do this list without finishing here. The late chairman Nigel Doughty's son is on the books at QPR, and not in the first team plans. After a number of loans around League One level, Doughty would potentially seek a step up to the Championship, and where better than a club he loves. It’d almost feels like fate or at least a nice romantic notion anyway. He is left sided midfielder, so we are lacking a few lefties, though Ben Osborn would surely be head in the pecking order.
