Hull 0 Forest 0

Well, I was worried we may lose this one, but slowly, like a steamroller we are starting to build some momentum. Still only one defeat all season can't be sniffed at, and that was the first clean sheet to boot.
I was slightly worried also by the fact Chambers was in the side for the missing Wilson. I am not the biggest fan of Chambers, but the fact he played centre half and we didn't concede speaks for itself.
The first half was largely a non event. We went close through McGugans free kick, and they looked dangerous through Jimmy Bullard, back in the side. He forced Camp to save with a wildly dipping swerving long range effort, that at first looked nothing more than speculative, until all that movement came.
The second half was all Forest. If this was a Boxing fight, we'd easily have taken this on points. Earnshaw got the ball in the back of the net, but this was ruled out for offside (correctly might I add)
The chance of the match had fallen to Chambers, with a close range header, that really should been on target, never mind in the back of the net. It was one of those days I guess. No-one stood out as being particularly bad or good for either side, and so maybe a draw was the right result, even if we did have all the second half possession, but largely did nothing with it ultimately.
You have to look at going away to a place like Hull and coming away with a point as being a good thing, even if we are all desperate to kick on up the league. A win would have seen us comfortably midtable, lurking just behind the playoff spots.
Now we have to look to beat Swansea on Saturday in what will be a tough game as always against the Welsh side.
